九型人格專業學院

＂九型心理學＂ 是一套由林博士經過16年研究得出的學問，當中揉合了九型人格學和其他心理學知識。簡單而言, ＂九型心理學＂就是一套讀 ＂心＂ 術，了解自己及其他人的內心需要。

在專業資格上，Dr. Joseph Lam 現為美國心理學學會 (American Psychological Association) 臨床心理學部，及英國心理學學會 (British Psychological Society) 臨床心理學部(Division of Clinical Psychology) 的専業會員，也是香港輔導及心理學學會 (Hong Kong Society of Counseling and Psychology) 之註冊専業臨床心理學家會員。

在九型人格學的歷程上，Dr. Joseph Lam 早於1999年開始，已接觸九型人格學(Enneagram)，並在2003年，遠赴美國加州參與 Enneagram Professional Training Program (EPTP)，直接跟隨九型人格學一代宗師Helen Palmer和於Stanford University任教的 David Daniels, M.D.學習九型人格學，成為其門下的國際認可導師 (Certified Enneagram Professional Trainer)，亦是香港第一位獲其認可之正規合格導師（全球第二位擁有專業認証之華人導師），更是「國際傳統口述導師協會 (Association of Enneagram Teachers in the Narrative Tradition)」之認可專業導師。在2009年，林博士成為國際九型人格協會 (International Enneagram Association) 之認可導師培訓導師 (Accredited Teacher)，代表林博士自己所培訓出來的認可九型人格學導師，是得到被尊崇和認証。
